Web Browser Upgrade

The web site of Boy Scout Troop 1185 and Venturing Crew 1185 has been designed to operate properly with Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher. Many older systems are still operating on version 4.0. For best viewing results of our site, please upgrade your browser to the latest version available to you for free from the Microsoft web site.

To update your Internet Explorer program to the newest version, you must download it from the

Microsoft.com web site. Currently Microsoft is offering version 6.0 for free download. Follow these instructions to perform this download:

Step 1: Go to the Microsoft web site at address http://www.microsoft.com. After the page loads

onto your screen, click on the “Download” link. (See figure 1 below)

Step 2: Click on the link for “Internet Explorer 6” (See Figure 2 below)

Step 3: Select your language and click “Go” (See Figure 3 below)
